The Service Learning Committee is responsible for providing small awareness events throughout the academic year along with the major event, Unite to Fight. Unite to Fight is a campus-wide philanthropic program for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Students send pre-made letters to friends, family, etc. asking them to donate to St. Jude on Northwestern's behalf. NSU has raised over $100,000 for St. Jude over the last couple of years. Despite the fact there has always been a major letter writing event, this year will be quite different In conclusion with a letter booth, we will host a three day week of fun and entertainment. While raising funds for St. Jude's hospital. At the conclusion of our event, we will have an evening lantern release, similar to the seen in Tangled.
