Candidates for Representative-at-Large must attend a mandatory informational session on March 9th.

Representatives-at-Large Duties/Requirements

S.A.B. will be meeting at 5 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays. Applicants who have class, work, or another prior commitment at this time are NOT eligible for board membership. You must have also paid the student activities fee to be eligible.
Representatives at Large
General Description:
Representatives-at-Large represent the interest of the student body on the Student Activities Board by providing feedback and approval for events to be sponsored for the student body. Rep @ Larges are key in planning SABs large events including Homecoming Week and Spring Fling.
Job Responsibilities:
• Attend weekly meetings
• Work all events: completing set up, staffing of the event, and clean up at the conclusion.
• Promote all events via word of mouth
• Hang PR in assigned spaces across campus and in community
• Will attend all of the following:
o Representatives at large meetings
o Board Meetings
o Committee meetings
• Assist in the planning of SAB events
• Work with the Executive Representatives-at-Large and/or Special Events Coordinator
• Vote in favor or opposed to all SAB events and provide appropriate feedback to committee members
• Represent the best interests of the student body for programming at NSU
Preferred Qualifications:
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* A proven track record of creative programming.
* Great tenacity and problem-solving skills.
* The ability to be flexible and deal with last minute changes
* A strong customer service orientation, with an innate desire to help others.
* Outstanding interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with a diverse mix of
students.
* Previous leadership experiences not necessary but strongly preferred.
